Safe Haven Property Holdings Ltd (Company No. 15291973, registered in England and Wales) is the data controller for personal information collected through this website and in the course of letting our properties. This notice explains what we collect, why we collect it and the rights you have.

Information we collect

  • Enquiry and booking details — your name, email address, telephone number, the dates requested, the property selected and the number of guests.
  • Payment information — bank transfer references or card transaction records. Card details are processed by our payment provider and are never stored on this website.
  • Guest verification — where a booking is made, we may ask to see photographic identification on arrival, in line with our insurance and safety obligations.
  • Website usage — see our Cookies Policy for the limited information stored by your browser.

How we use your information

We use your details to answer enquiries, hold and manage bookings, take payment, meet our legal and insurance obligations, and — only where you have asked us to — send occasional property updates. We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for third-party marketing.

Who we share it with

We share the minimum necessary information with our accountants, our payment provider, our insurers and, where a repair or service call is required, our maintenance contractors. We may also disclose information where we are required to do so by law.

How long we keep it

Booking and financial records are kept for six years to satisfy accounting and tax requirements. Enquiries that do not proceed to a booking are deleted after twelve months. Marketing preferences are kept until you withdraw consent.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, to have inaccurate information corrected, to ask us to delete information that we no longer need, and to object to processing. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@safehaven-property.uk or on +44 7533 355033.

Security

We use access controls, encrypted connections and routine software updates to protect the information we hold. If you have reason to believe your information has been compromised, please tell us immediately so that we can investigate.
